Time once again for good curry and fabulous conversation with like minded business people, catching up with Currybusiness regulars, building stronger relationships and I always thoroughly enjoy meeting new people, new businesses and finding out what makes people tick, it really is all very interesting you know, and such good fun!
This months meeting was a very pleasurable experience and a very interesting place of business indeed, the Royal Southampton Yacht Club. One of the oldest royal yacht clubs in the country, it is a club young at heart and attracting new families, young people and businesses all the time. Placed firmly on my radar now as not only does it provide fantastic food and amenities for its yachting club members, it is without a doubt a premier yacht club on the South Coast, (and yes I have been to a few!). Added to this it’s superior view, the bar and restaurant, and the business and conference rooms, all of which are available for private hire and perfect for all weddings, parties and events!

Each month Currybusiness also raises a little extra cash for the venue’s chosen charity, and naturally tonight’s charity is the Royal Southampton Yacht Club Trust. The Trust, aimed primarily but not exclusively at youngsters, young adults and the disabled, will encourage participation in sailing and associated on-the-water activities for those looking to develop their sailing skills in dinghies, canoes and other small craft.
A whooping £135.00 raised for the trust tonight, well done everyone.
