This months meeting was held at Lakeside 1000 in Portsmouth and hosted by Coffin Mew as part of the Coffin Mew Startup heros. Guest speaker Fleur Emery presented a lovely talk about her entrepreneurship, her successes and failures and a good Q & A session followed. It sure is a roller coaster ride. The message, if you have a dream, just do it. Inspiring. I also managed to have a little chat later on regarding her “career” as a poker player and good to know those days are now history, yet so much fun!

The evening finished off with some relaxed networking, a few friendly faces which are always good to see, and quite a few new ones too, especially a local start up partnership in the chocolate industry of which I’m really looking forward to having coffee and a brainstorming session with soon too, if I can help in any way, I’d love to and I often find start ups so damn exciting!
