10th July 2016

A glorious sunny morning  for today’s wedding fair and I always get a little excited preparing and loading the van for these occasions, (even after a very busy Friday & Saturday night!).  Yes, it’s work,  yet doing the actual events, networking and wedding fairs are for me the best bits of running the business and  I truly love meeting new people,  listening to future bride and grooms chat about their forthcoming wedding day and I always love catching up with fellow wedding suppliers, and some of the very best in Hampshire were showcasing today.

Adding to the day’s excitement too is the venue,  The Three Choirs Vineyard in  Wickham, Hampshire and just one word  “Lush”!

An exquisite beamed barn conversion with an  outdoor pavilion,  situated at the foot of the Meon Valley,   gives this venue the true meaning of Lush!  Nestled  amongst the vines in  40 acres of estate, wide open spaces, a meadow with an English Country Garden feel which also offers the perfect location for a marquee, and all of which are situated with the beautiful Meon Valley providing the perfect backdrop for wedding photographs.

Licensed for both indoor and outdoor wedding ceremonies, fine wine and dining, the ability to cater for large or small occasions, and in such beautiful, gorgeous,  lush grounds, The Three Choirs Vineyard is now one of my top favourite wedding venues in Hampshire.   On a personal level too,  I loved the whole intimacy and relaxed feel it gave and if I ever got married again…

Available for hire for all weddings, parties and events

I’m no photographer and as much as I originally wished to have the lovely pavilion and gardens  in the background, trying to gather all the fabulous wedding suppliers for a photo opportunity is rather tricky, with much chatter and a whole load of movement…  (away from the original idea), hey ho!

From left to right, Maurice (Inspiration Cakes),  Anya (Anya Bridal Couture), Colin Rouse (Eclipse Mobile Disco), Tyler Rouse (Married In A Moggy), Sean Boon (Hampshire Magician), Karen (Vinnie’s Vintage Vehicles), Barry Allenby (Allenby Limousines), Myself, Andrew and Rob (Creatiques Bridal Boutique), Kelly Jordan (Charmaine of Southsea), Annette Bradford (Elegance Bridal Coiffure), Kate Mew (Splitty Wedding Hire) and Steve Middleton (Lawnswood Limousines).

Waves to Wendy from BC Digiphot,  D & T Video Services and the lovely staff at the Three Choirs Vineyard who were all busy making bookings and unfortunately not in the photo!
